24 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa

The National Competitiveness Center's Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 24 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 17 government bodies, the NCC invites the general public, government entities, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

The National Cybersecurity Authority has launched a public consultation on a project the titled 'Updates on the Saudi Cybersecurity Workforce Framework', which aims to serve as a reference model and a guideline for preparing, developing, recruiting, promoting and managing the cybersecurity workforce. Public feedback on the project will be accepted until December 16, 2025.

The Research Development and Innovation Authority has put forward a key project on the platform titled 'Guideline for International Scientific Cooperation for Researchers.' This project aims to establish a unified guiding framework for international scientific and research collaboration that ensures adherence to best practices and international standards. Public feedback on the project is open until December 17, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities & Housing has put forward a key project on Istitlaa platform titled 'Technical Regulations for Determining the Additional Period for Developing Lands Subject to the White Land and Vacant Property Fees System.' This project aims to enhance the efficiency of fees on white (undeveloped) lands to stimulate the real estate market, increase the supply of developed lands and housing units, achieve a balance between supply and demand. Public feedback on the project is open until December 18, 2025.

The Ministry of Commerce has launched a public consultation on a project titled 'Ministerial Resolution on Instant Fines for Failure to Comply with Beneficial Ownership Disclosure or the Annual Confirmation of Registered Information', which aims to enhance compliance with the beneficial ownership rules, improve the tools of supervision and violation detection, and ensure justice when imposing fines. Public feedback on the project will be accepted until December 19, 2025.

The ‏Jouf Strategic Development Office has put forward a key project on Istitlaa platform titled 'Urban Components Policy for Special Zones in Al-Jouf Region.' This project aims to establish a unified regulatory framework for the external design standards of urban components in special zones of Al-Jouf, ensuring alignment with the Northern Najdi identity. Public feedback on the project is open until December 25, 2025.

The introduction of draft regulations, publics, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. In addition, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.​
