30 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa

The National Competitiveness Center's Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 30 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 14 government agencies, the NCC invites the general public, government agencies, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

Key projects presented on the platform include a project titled 'Occupational Fitness and Non-Communicable Disease Examination Regulations,' developed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The project aims to unify efforts in establishing an integrated framework that aligns with international best practices and local standards. The public can provide feedback on this project through the Istitlaa platform until May 19, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Regulations for Electing Heads of Crafts and Professions and Their Deputies.' This project aims to ensure fair representation of craftsmen and professionals before official authorities. Public consultation on this project will remain open until May 20, 2025.

The National Center for Non-Profit Sector is seeking public feedback on a new project titled 'Rules for Implementing Social Impact Investments.' The project aims to regulate and promote social impact investments by certifying enterprises, enhancing investor trust, and providing ongoing support to certified entities. Public consultation on this project will conclude on May 20, 2025.

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Radio Spectrum Use Regulations for Program Making and Special Events (PMSE).' This project aims to enhance the optimal use of the spectrum utilized for Program Making and Special Events (PMSE) applications. Public consultation on this project will remain open until June 4, 2025.

The Real Estate General Authority is seeking public feedback on a new project titled 'Project for the System of Subdivision, Ownership of Real Estate Units, and Management of Common Areas.' The project aims to regulate the provisions related to the subdivision of real estate units and the determination of their ownership. Public consultation on this project will conclude on June 6, 2025.

The introduction of draft regulations, by-laws, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. Likewise, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.​
