31 Projects Opened for Feedback through the Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa

The National Competitiveness Center's Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 31 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 20 government bodies, the NCC invites the general public, government entities, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

The Ministry of Finance has launched a public consultation on a project titled 'Amendments on the Executive Regulation of Government Tenders and Procurement Law.' The changes aim to clarify the standards for terminating contracts in the public interest and address private sector concerns regarding the confiscation of final guarantees. Public feedback on this project will be accepted until October 22, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Ice Cream Shop Requirements.' The aim of the project is to achieve the goals of developing and improving the business environment in a way that fulfills the ambitions and general objectives of both the individual and society, assists those wishing to invest in this field, and raises food safety standards. Public feedback on the project is open until October 22, 2025.

The Saudi Building Code Center is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Executive Regulations of the Saudi Building Code.' The project aims to align provisions with Royal Decree No. 204, which amended the Law on the Application of the Saudi Building Code, and to ensure conformity with the organizational arrangements of the Saudi Building Code Center, issued by Council of Ministers, Resolution No. 656. Public consultation on this project will remain open until October 23, 2025.

The Ministry of Commerce has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Amendment of Article 10 of the Implementing Regulations of the Chambers of Commerce Law.' This project aims to achieve flexibility in decision-making, enhance efficiency, reduce administrative costs for chamber boards, strengthen private sector engagement, and improve adaptability to economic changes, all while aligning with digital transformation. Public feedback on the project is open until October 23, 2025.

The National Center for Non-Profit Sector is seeking public feedback on a new regulatory framework titled 'Guidelines for the Establishment of Non-Profit Entities by Government Agencies.' The project aims to regulate the establishment of non-profit entities by government agencies, clarifying the procedures for their formation and the mechanisms for their management. Public consultation on this project will remain open until October 23, 2025.

The Ministry of Interior has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Law of Facility Security.' This project aims to regulate procedures for protecting facilities from external threats and ensuring internal security, while promoting integration and coordination among relevant entities. Public feedback on the project is open until November 8, 2025.

The introduction of draft regulations, publics, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. In addition, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
