Al-Mutairi Receives a Delegation of American Business Owners

​The Deputy Minister of Commerce, CEO of the National Competitiveness Center, Dr. Eiman Al-Mutairi, received today, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, a delegation of American business owners from Colorado, which included 10 executives of companies specialized in financial, energy, contracting, management, consulting and business development sectors.
 
The CEO of NCC reviewed with the delegation, which was headed by the President of the Colorado Business Roundtable, Debbie Brown, and in the presence of Saudi business owners and entrepreneurs, ways to enhance cooperation between these companies and the Saudi business sector, especially that contribute to diversifying the sources of the national economy and support its competitiveness regionally and globally, in line with the plans and goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
 
Dr. Al-Mutairi gave a presentation on the role of the National Competitiveness Center in enhancing the competitiveness of the Kingdom, in addition to addressing the reforms and measures that were implemented to build a flexible and transparent legislative system for the business sector in integration with the government entities and the private sector.
 
At the end of the meeting, which was attended by a number of officials from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in United States, the delegation was briefed on the "Public Consultation Platform" and the "Private Sector Feedback Platform", which contribute to lifting the challenges facing the private sector, and enhancing the private sector participation, by expressing their views and feedback on the draft laws and regulations related to the economic and development affairs before been approved.
